I like your layouts a lot. They look very elegant and expensive. The colors you are choosing are working well.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice, but I think that the wolverine scratch marks are too much. Maybe you can identify the look with something else, rather than center most of the designs around the claw marks. I do like it overall, though.

I think the scratches may work, but we had discussed wrapping the scratch around and I'd like to see you explore that idea as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Christine, the scratch marks are a bit redundant but overall, these are coming out nicely. I really like the color choices that you have made. The white, silver, and black makes it look masculine and high end. For X-Men: United, choice #1 and #2 works best. #3 doesn't feel like X2, it feels like X to the exponent X2 and the X also feels repetitive. I don't know if that made sense but hope it helps. =)

If you wanted more variety you could put elements of various characters instead of just wolverine's claws, like a mangled metal look to represent Magneto, cut up metal by laser to represent Cyclops, etc.
